That's strange because it downloaded, unzipped, and played perfectly well for me last night. None of the files were corrupted. Some of the tracks are of better quality than others, but they all played without a problem when I opened them with the Winamp player.

@potzorbie ..ive used 1soundtracks.com ..there legit...bad thing is they dont check there d/l links.. a lot of there links are DEAD , theres a icon button on there site to report a dead link...ive reported a few ..but they dont do ''jack about it.''..it just stays dead ?? ..so its a 50/50 chance youll get what they claim they offer...

I went there also and no doubt they have the hugest collection but like cosmicwind said, they do nothing when the links go dead. I've even tried contacting them, sending e-mails, but all were in vain. But like Madkalnod says, "get 'em while they're hot."

as for 1soundtracks.com ,yea look at the bottom of their page is says 2006...i think they kinda just put the site up and left it ...there is a upload icon on there site,most of the soundtracks on there are supplied by fans and visitors to their site...

This sounds very interesting and I have never heard of it before, is it an official release?

Finally, someone gets my name. Although it is spelled like how I remembered it as a kid and not the true spelling(potrzebie). The only Mad Magazine stuff I have is a few tracks from an AOL free trial disk. I keep forgetting that I have that.

The Lost Cues I got from a torrent and not sure if it was official or not.
Either way, it's very good. I'll have it up shortly.

I submit that I was thinking of glomming onto it (I've heard parts of the standard score, and I'm a big fan of Mike Mignola's), and so perhaps it was a slight bit of selfishness on my part to mention the original link to the Extended OST for Hellboy. I have a Gatchaman song collection. It includes all songs for every Gatchaman series. are you talking about about songs or the score to the OVA. I actually have the score as well but it is buried in storage. If its the songs, are you talking about Gatchaman no uta 94 remix or the english vocal theme at the end. The name escapes me.

Goisles, if you get the chance to have a look round for it, my brother's interested in the Gatchaman score. No hurry, though, as I think he's looking more for the original 1970s version rather then the more recent re-imagined OVA.

Sorry nobody has helped you regarding your Mac problem but I get the feeling most everyone here is running some version of Windows. (myself included)

I am just guessing here but maybe you can check the properties of one of those mpeg-1 files and change the program that opens it. I really don't know that much about Macs...sorry.

I Download from a mac also. You have to make sure that you have the program to uncompress on your machine or it can read as something else. Do you have a program that can uncompress .rars?? If not get one. I use unrar its free.

Are you using StuffitExpander? I'm running OSX Tiger and have been using that with absolutely no problems. If you're not, it's a free download (it's basically the Mac version of Winzip)

Hope that helps.

Okay Potzorbie I will get them up soon as I can :) I don't spend as much time on the computer these days as I trying to get into shape so I don't get diabetes as my doctor warned about.

When I get a chance I will also upload for you a bunch of Mad Magazine flexi record recordings (you know the free floppy records they would include in "More Trash From Mad" etc? Plus I have a few of the rare official record releases from the gang at Mad.) And I am pretty sure that in the original Mad comic book, they spelled "Portzorbie" a variety of ways as they got zanier, so your memory may not be all that bad concerning the spelling. :)

I am desperately looking for the song Freebird, performed by My Morning Jacket (as "Ruckus") in Elizabethtown... Apparently a promotional CD-single was released, (see here ([Only registered and activated users can see links])) but I can't seem to find it anywhere... And no its not on any of the 4 different CDs that were released with the soundtrack of the movie :)

Is your copy similar? My version's in 224-320 kbps. I didn't even know they made 440-614 kbps.

As for Brigadoom, while I love the Brunnen-G anthem (Yo-A-O) and some of the more Tangerine Dream-ey pieces Marty Simon does (like the Opening Themes, Prisoner Transport, Battle of the Universe, and The Lexx Escape), I loathe the Lexx show and avoid it like the sight of Emeril Legasse in a pink speedo, so I don't know which episode Brigadoom is. I presume it's a musical with lots of singing? I know that they did one, at least. If so, thanks but I think I'd pass on that one.

[B]Yes that is the same track listing that I have. I see higher bit rates than 320 sometimes so I think some ripping programs must have that capability. I use dbPowerAmp and the absolute top kbps I can rip at is 320. Yes Brigadoom was the "musical" episode.

It's called: Atomic Platters: Cold War Music From The Golden Age of Homeland Security it was published by Bear Family Records and Conelrad and is 6 discs to the set. I would greatly appreciate it because I don't have $200 to spend on the actual set and it just sounds like an incredibly cool thing and all the torrents I have found are dead dead dead. I wasn't going to re-ask for this (it's already in the Request thread), but on the off chance that one of you has it and hadn't seen it in the other thread....

Anyone have the rip of Chibi Robo, from the Gamecube version? I saw a thread previously that someone uploaded it, but (of course) that link is now dead.

I think it might have been a game rip, not an official OST. But it is *NOT* the DS version (Chibi Robo: Park Patrol), that is different.

So apparently there is a more complete score for Hellboy. Found links for a 3 CD score. The post stated that CD1 consisted of 32 tracks, CD2 of 17 tracks and CD3 of 23 tracks. So that's 23 additional tracks to the previously posted 2 CD score.

So apparently there is a more complete score for Hellboy. Found links for a 3 CD score. The post stated that CD1 consisted of 32 tracks, CD of 17 tracks and CD3 of 23 tracks. So that's 23 additional tracks to the previously posted 2 CD score.

ZORAN has a life and a day job outside this forum, and he'll post the SeaQuest scores on his schedule, not yours.

For those of you just joining us (or those who haven't bothered to read the forst page), here are the Rules of The Thread, as laid down by our departed Lawgiver Scoreman:

Rule 1: You can request as much as you like, but once you have requested it, please do not keep asking if i have found it. Once i have found it i will let you know. If i cannot find it after 3 months, i shall give up and again, let you know.

Rule 2: If you request something, im sure you have stuff of your own, either bought, downloaded or suchlike. So i wil ask for those that wish for me to hunt to make a list, if they do not have one already, of stuffs they have. This is one way i actually hunt for scores, you never know, you may have something someone is after already.. If you are not prepared to send me a list of stuff you have, consider yourself not worthy enough for me to hunt for..

Rule 3: Please, when stating a score you are after, please add as much info about it as you can...IE:
Name of Score
Release...Wether it is commercially available, Promo, Complete etc
Name of Composer (im good, but memory isnt 100%)

Semantics...the rule means once you request it and someone replied to you, it is only courteous to wait until that request is filled without what would seem like nagging. This board is a treasure chest of rare and hard to find TV and Movie Scores. Requests are usually filled quite quickly. You are getting them for free so it would be a shame to get on the bad side of some of the main suppliers (Madkalnod, Zoran, Slovaksoul etc.) and be on the outside looking in. So the key word is patience my brother. We all have a life outside this forum.=)

Technically correct, but my point is you're still being greedy and impatient and it reflects badly on you.

Bothering him with your inability to comprehend deferred gratification was Strike One. Being a smart-arse when advised that your behavior was ill-received was Strike Two. Aggravate me just once more, and you go on my Ignore list, and I make a point of never posting anything you ask for again.

To be brutally honest, I still haven't listened to it past the first minute or two. These aren't just sound artifacts, these are full-volume dialogue spoken over the music, as if the score has not been isolated and the total audio output from all channels has been recorded as mp3s. As such, I find it too frustrating to listen to. Tracks 20 onward are supposed to be from previous CD releases of the score.

Welcome. Fair warning though, The Invisible bootleg score is on my currently coveting list as well. And so far I've come up with nada on it. Just the album cover and tracklist. So expect this request to take a rather long time.

On a related note, I emailed Marco Beltrami and he informed me that he is thinking of possibly doing a Promo score for The Invisible. So here's hoping that happens and soon.

I'm back to fulfill my own request from a few months back, for an album of original recordings from Charlie Chaplin's films. From what I can tell it's a Russian release and very rare. (They haven't been remastered, so obviously the quality's not so good.)

Here's a challenge if anyone is up to it. The "You Can't Do That On Television" theme, its a Dixieland jazz version of Rossini's William Tell Overture performed by The National Press Club and Allied Workers Jazz Band. All I can find are recordings from old videos and am trying to find the original version. I hoe someone could she some light on it.

Hi!

I'm looking for John Barry's score to The Black Hole, the 1979 Disney space adventure movie. The score has haunted me... and there's one on iTunes but the only online rips I've been able to find are ones where someone recorded off of their record player so the quality is quite substandard.

Anyone have Barry's Black Hole with nice sounding audio quality?
