The use of the term banned is a misnomer.
The forum no longer emails postings. Period.
It's nothing personal. It's most likely a security precaution, related to the recent series of incidents involving an individual abusing this forum through multiple fake accounts.
If you were really banned, you wouldn't be able to log in, or see links, or post messages.
As for PMs, from my own experience they seem to still work (I sent and recieved replies on Thursday.) However without knowing who you tried to write, I don't know if they didn't remove themselves from the fourm, or if they just are to preoccupied with other matters to respond right away.

Please relax. The end is NOT here. Things have been a little crazy in the last week. (For the story, start back on last Saturday and read through to now.)

I actually had the wonderful privilege of attending the Dear Friends concert in LA when it came years ago. These live concerts are wonderful and really show off the amazing melodies of Uematsu. The only negative is that it seems they play the same freaking songs on every live and remix album because they are the favorites.

It has been leaked. The quality seems to be partial lossy, but no cut off frequencies though. At least one track (Giving The Kii) is corrupted and has some glitches in it. The original submitter disallowed to share it, though. I'm sure this will be only a temporary issue.

I am a big fan of Richard Band and this is my favorite OST.

I believe it is the best composition ever made by him. Ok, the movie is very, very bad (B-movie ? No, a C-movie !). But the music ... is great! Enjoy!

Well, upon investigation of what I had it turns out it's NOT Intrada, I apologize.
The folder picture mislead me to think it was Intrada, but it looks like this has 17 tracks and the Intrada CD has 15.
This must be a rip of the record album. I didn't figure this out until I already had it upped, so in case anyone else wants it :

Both the Intrada and the MCA LP for Buck Rogers have the same 15 tracks.
I came across a version that had extra tracks that were ripped versions of the tv openning and end credits.

I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the LP and the CD, my ears are not that sensitive.

Just a heads up. It is not appropriate to keep reposting the same request day after day. While I understand that the score is quite critically acclaimed, if anybody had it, I think they'd tell you by now. It will either turn up, or it won't. In any event, there is no need to keep asking.

Wow, I did not know that. I didn't do much research into that one. I did listen to it again earlier and it does seem ripped from vinyl. It's a good rip and the sound is O.K. but if you listen closely between tracks with headphones you can hear the grooves. We probably have the same one with 17 tracks. I can't recall where I picked that one up from, I tend to surf a lot...

Well, upon investigation of what I had it turns out it's NOT Intrada, I apologize.
The folder picture mislead me to think it was Intrada, but it looks like this has 17 tracks and the Intrada CD has 15.
This must be a rip of the record album. I didn't figure this out until I already had it upped, so in case anyone else wants it :

Well, all I can say is the more information you can give about your requests the better.

Both the Intrada and the MCA LP for Buck Rogers have the same 15 tracks.
I came across a version that had extra tracks that were ripped versions of the tv openning and end credits.

I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the LP and the CD, my ears are not that sensitive.

I'm glad to hear that you got the version you were looking for.

As a side note, according to Soundtrack Collector, both version are the same. This makes sense, since the album is, strictly speaking, for the feature film version and not the actual series. The narration, or for the matter, even the opening credits, were only used for the series proper.
I rechecked mine, and it has no narration. There is an instrumental prologue, and then a song.
The series is narration followed by an instrumental version of the song. (That's probably why whoever ripped this added version of the opening credits.)

Anyway, mine is a variable bit rate version, of what sounds like at least a very clean LP transfer, or perhaps the CD. Depending on what bitrate you got yours, mine might or might not be a better copy.
