Recently I found a collection made by a ®–ƒ–∆∆.
I sure hope he doesn't mind me sharing this one
with you. Otherwise he may let me know and I'll

Interesting to know is, that the so called
unused score was actually replaced in the
american version of the movie. The european
version of the movie has the original Goldsmith
score in it. Replacing the music must be one
of the profound misjudgments of the producers.
I wonder why Ridley Scott kept hiring Jerry
when he was always struggling to get his
music through like with Legend, Alien and
Gladiator where Jerry was dumped for the
Zimmer Gang. >:O

Anyway, the movie is a lot different with it's
original score and it's simply gorgeous. There
is a DVD ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) featuring the two versions to compare.
Judge for yourselves.

TeeVeeToons released a seemingly endless series of "Television's Greatest Hits" CDs, but I have none of them apart from the four volumes of "The Sci-Fi Channel Presents Sci-Fi's Greatest Hits". Sadly, most of it seems to be out of print, and the label would appear to be seriously in debt. You can order what little is left at:

Thanks for posting this but I managed to buy a copy a few years back, its a great C.D, anyone else reading this should definatley download it. The Space Adventures C.D was a mix of the stock/library music used for loads of William Hartnell stories, some great musique concrete etc.
It even had that great little tune Susan was listening to in 'An Unearthly Child'!!

You really put a lot of effort into helping people out on this forum, the last three albums you posted to me I've really loved.

Hi there and many thanks for the detailed info.

I've got one of the four sci-fi-channel CDs as well and it's a shame if the
label is in bad condition. I checked the links you sent and found the themes I
was looking for on several sites, all of them in rather bad quality.

I also checked my preferred soundtrack retailer for works by A. B.
Rubinstein but with very little success, actually none. I'll keep on searching
and hoping there might be a distribution of more music some time.

All the other Rubinstein fans out there find this awesome two CD set of his
motion pictures scores. It contains music from Nick of Time, Best of Times,
Another Stakeout, Hypersapien, Wargames, Stakeout, Deal of the Century
and The Hard Way. The tracks are in AAC (.m4a) for use with iTunes.

That link isn't the score for Hot Fuzz though its the various artists cd. It has like one song by David Arnold.
EDIT: I guess it has a 22 minute suite which is pretty awesome still it would be awesome if anyone has the score.

I'm sorry for lurking this long; linked to Galbadia months ago on a completely unrelated site, and I've been signed up for some time now to these forums.
While I humbly submit I haven't a great deal to offer in the way of OSTs, I'm happy to do what I can. In the meantime; I believe Zoran (BTW, awesome Dr. Doom avatar; reminds me of his card from one of the Marvel Skyboxes) or another of the regulars- again, I apologize for my crosspatched memory in that regard- mentioned that they had 'Vampire Circus: The Essential Vampire Themes Collection', and I would absolutely love to glom onto it. I can't imagine that there's a second CD by that name, unless I'm wrong about the name; I have tried and tried to get it locally, and I'm not even sure you can mailorder it, it's very obscure (I think the label is Cleopatra Records). A close friend of mine had a copy at one point, but she misplaced it a while ago and has yet to find it as of this post.

Damn the luck. The album I was looking for either _does_ have a more similar name to this one or I'm remembering it incorrectly...this isn't it. I really hope I haven't made this a total waste of time for you, Z. The lineup for this one, regardless, sounds interesting... I think I'll DL it (thanks for that, and hopefully you'll forgive my error) and see what it's like. I don't have any older OSTs in my CD library, no further back than 1970 or so (and I'm pretty sure there are only two, both from the same label) and I'm curious to see what this rendition of the 1979 Frank Langella 'Dracula' theme is like, as I've seen the movie but not gotten a good grasp of what incidental music there was.

Again, I really do apologize for my mistake. I hope something I have- I still plan to make that list- may make up for it.

Unfortunately, it's not my upload and I haven't downloaded it myself. I found it at a music blog that I check out once in a while; the download link was posted by a fellow blog visitor in the comment/request section some time ago. Are you able to successfully unzip the rest of the files? Is it just that one track?

Appreciate the vote of confidence, and again thank you for your effort on my behalf. Hmm...I went over the list, and there were some OSTs on it I hadn't known were made for their respective movies (like 'Shadow Of The Vampire' and 'Innocent Blood'), at least nothing that was commercially available. I don't think the album I know of is on that list, I'm afraid...I do know it was called 'Vampire Themes' or 'Vampire Circus', and it was released by Cleopatra Records. It contained- and a great deal of my searching for it is because of this track- a remix of the theme for the TV series 'Forever Knight', by a group called 'Bell, Book & Candle'; I found a fansite with a really good rip of it years ago, but I don't believe that site is still up and somewhere during backing my first CD-ROM archives up, all three bitrate versions of the song were damaged in some way, minor but obviously.

Either way, I took a listen to the track from the 1979 Dracula OST; it's a suite combining the title track with a couple of incidentals. Well-orchestrated, too.

After listening to the sound clips from the link COSMIC posted, I really want this collection of Vampire Themes as well ! Though most seem to be covers of other well known Vamp themes, they are dark and gothy and I like it ! So if you are someone else finds it somewhere, I am most defiantly interested.

After listening to the sound clips from the link COSMIC posted, I really want this collection of Vampire Themes as well ! Though most seem to be covers of other well known Vamp themes, they are dark and gothy and I like it ! So if you are someone else finds it somewhere, I am most defiantly interested.

No disagreement at all. The first time that I heard the BB&C Forever Knight theme remix, I knew I wanted to find myself a copy of it. Of course, we're talking over ten years ago and the best I had then was a tape deck, stereo-wise. ;) I have heard professional redos and fan-made remixes of the Forever Knight theme (originally by Fred Mollin), and the version on Vampire Themes is the only one that comes anywhere near as close to giving me shivers.

I've been visiting PPBs for a few years now, and I can understand that re-editing a pilot post in a thread as long as this one- considering as well that links go dead and get reposted (thus requiring additional edits on the original post) subsequently as well- can be some degree of business for anybody. I'll try and have something ready in the next few days; I haven't been able to spend as much time at the controls, so to speak. :) For now, it does look like this album (Vampire Themes) _is_ findable, and I'll let you know how my visit to the record store goes.

It may need to be reuploaded. Since no-one had mentioned it since your post, I figured that you would want to know.

Does anybody have the remaining OSTs? Oh, I'm also looking for the Conspiracy Theory score by Carter Burwell.

Thanks for the heads up on that! I totally did not notice it; I had several different rapidshare link pages open at the same time, so it didn't even register in my head that the filesize was 0.
