Aliens Vs Predator 2 then Bangkok Dangerous or Timeline

The time duration of the OST is around 40 minutes, as such this version I think.

Fulci, I have the André Previn version but the bitrate is at VBR -V2. An upgrade would be welcome.
A 320k or -V0 bitrate will be enough for me, but if you want you can also post a lossless version, just for the lossless gang of the forum.

Yeah...i should have mentioned I'm not so much a fan of the action scores.....the ones I suggested are a little more offbeat and kinda not normal......if it's action scores you're looking for Eagle Eye, Timeline and AVP: Requiem are good. I'm not a big action score fan, but if I'd have to pick an action score composer it'd be Tyler or Silvestri.

Children of Dune was terrific, definitely try it out, many emotional pieces, as well as bombastic action pieces, really nice score. It was one of Tyler's more orchestral scores.

Hey thanks for the offer.
I actually have 5 versions so far of The Planets.
I got a hold of a Bernard Herrmann conducted version that's pretty cool.
My favorite so far I have on a CD with the Georgian Festival Orchestra.
Unfortunately two tracks are scratched on it before i could convert it to FLAC.
I tried a couple of programs now including Exact Audio Copy and the data is irretrievable.
You don't have to go to the trouble unless you want to on that one.
If you do, a 320 version would be good enough for me as well.
Thanks again.
On another note I found a couple of collectors out thre looking for the JW version of it as well. Maybe it will surface soon.
~
On another note I ahve to agree with the Children of Dune by Brian Taylor.
I really liked that series and the music is the best that he has done that I have heard so far.
I got the AVPR and it's O.K. but nothing has the mood of Children of Dune.

Ennio Morricone and Resident Evil?? Are you serious? I googled for it and only found a link for a possible game adaptation, where George A. Romero was attached to the project back in '98 and Morricone was mentioned. But the movie got delayed, directors switched and I'm sure composers, too. Do you have a link, where it's stated Morricone actually did compose some stuff for the movie?

no, it seems that this is all it is,re-edited in chronlogical order.....but,thats all this great score ever needed for its CD release.Thats ALL i ever wanted of this movies score. They added a track for the CD release but, then joined pieces of music in a totally screwed up order.{MAD MAX 2's CD release was a pain in the *ss.The quiet haunting intro was joined with the first chase piece of music !!!!}.I mean if i want a scrambled score i'll simply hit "random" on my player ! And i do appreciate suites too but at the end of an album, just when i think its all over!.

Again if anyone has this an uploads it in good quality.....i'll be more grateful than ever before on an internet forum...!

I think Ennio Morricone never was involved in the first Resident Evil Movie........he never wrote a single note or demos for this projects. some 'funny'
persons put this in the world making fake scores as it was with the rejected score of Howard Shores King Kong ( there is such a score arround but its a fake as its consists of music written by John Frizzell for Primeval). Think Howard Shore in the case of King Kong wrote a great amount of music but it never surfaced. I hate people who make and pute fake scores in the net. thats not good thats criminous.

I've checked your "Currently Coveting" List and even thought I couldn't find exactly what you are looking for (...man, I've tried for more than 2 hours) I found a few infos and other stuff that maybe will help.

The Music to Ultraman is really hard to find even thought that it was released in 2003. And till you can find the original soundtrack maybe this will help you:
Kunio Miyauchi - Music of Ultra Q and Ultraman
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

For "Wonder Woman Soundtrack 2009" it doesn't look bad. A few guys got in touch with Christopher Drake (Composer) and it looks like the soundtrack will be released before the end of the third quarter 2009.
I think you just have to wait a little bit and to check this site from time to
time to get the info when exactly it will be released:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

You've said that you don't know who made the music for "Batman: Dark Tomorrow".
So here are the Infos I could find:

Sound Director: Kohji Nishikawa
Music Coordinator: Patrizia Malagnino
Cinematic Music Composer: Tot Taylor
Music Arranged and Conducted By: Drek Wadsworth
Music Recording Studio: Abbey Road Studio
Performed By: Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

-sorry that I couldn't find what you were exactly looking for.

Thank ye enormously for the info on Batman: Dark Tomorrow; I've updated the original request to include the composer's data.

Thanks again for the info on Christopher Drake's Wonder Woman score, and I can wait patiently, secure in the knowledge that it will be available in some form before too long.

Thanks once more for the Ultraman/UltraQ/UltraSeven album. It's an earlier vintage than the animated movie score I'm looking for, but the orginal Ultraman request was made on behalf of my brothers, who enjoy all things kaiju, and so they'll probably get a kick out of this one nonetheless.

Brian Tyler and Tyler Bates are two different people........poor Brian Tyler....that's not the first time I've seen him mistaken for Tyler Bates......I've seen him mistaken for the other Fast & The Furious composer BT.

OMG Did I mis-read that as Tyler Bates? HAHA. And I did totally think BT and Brian Tyler were the same person, they're not? LOL.

lol....nope BT is Brian Wayne Transeau......like Brian Tyler, he too has an infatuation with hair products :loldata:

BT is the schmuck responsible for the first 2 F & F scores, Stealth's score and NSync's "POP".....yay.

If I may suggest, this recording could also be posted in the Classical Music Thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), so in this way the members that stop in that thread could see it.

Ya I have all the F&F scores--they're kind of lame unless I'm on my bike racing through traffic. Every track sounds the same.

I'm listening Twilight Zone Movie in this right moment.
Get ready for this one, because it's a score made up by four distinct parts.

Time Out: Agressive percussions and pianos. The most atonal and experimental of the four.
Kick the Can: My favourite part. A beautiful melody played in various forms through all the segment. The final track is wonderful.
It's a Good Life: The music varies from comic to terror. Brief "Mickey-Mousing" music style, that reminds me parts of Gremlins 2.
Nightmare at 20.000 Feet: I like the way the string are played in this segment, which creates a claustrophobic feeling. The last cue is a good action track.

ObIvan is a Russian fellow who made them.
I made this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
We did "steal" them!
He used Drew Strewzen Poster art from the re-release of Jedi Special Addition.
I used "stolen" artwork from the cover of Marvel Comics Super Specia by Bill Sienkiewicz.
[Only registered and activated users can see links] 39611dec6764e8205.jpg
as you can see I had to remove a bunch of text and lines to make that cover, took me a few hours.

ObIvan has them posted on a Russian forum and they are also at tehparadox in my Star Wars post.

There is no longer version available. If you find one, it's probably a re-arrangement of the cues in chronological order or a dvd-rip with slight fx.
If someone wants the OST (12 tracks), I'll upload it in the lossless thread.

VACANCY was awesome. That's how I got to like Paul Haslinger's music. His music sounds just like Sean Callery's music for the TV show 24. Paul's music in that film could make your heart pound and race. The tension and suspense was perfect. Even the shock moment cues were excellent.

I don't think there is a longer version available. Head over to the jwfan.net message boards, they are very dedicated to John's music and I'm sure if there is another version, they discussed it there. There must be a thread for complete tracklists there, too.

Impossible for now. This ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) is the only source telling us there actually is a promo. I couldn't find another place. Fenton said, there are plans for releasing the score with the DVD, but the specs released for it don't tell anything. Hi Madkalnod,

could you be so kind to upload he BBC Space Themes album?
This one seems almost impossible to find anywhere else!

Many thanks :)

Get it while it's hot:

BBC Space Themes: Contains themes from Apollo, Moonbase 3, A for Andromeda, The Sky at Night, Apollo Soyuz, Journey Into Space, Space For Man and the Case for Ancient Astronauts, Blake’s 7, Star Trek, Quatermass, Tomorrow’s World and Doctor Who (1978)
Commercial release
192 kbps mp3 format
2 tracks, 00:41:38
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Technical caveat: It looks like what the original uploader did was tranfer the album directly from vinyl to mp3. As a result, each side of the LP is a single track, rather than broken up into the 12 separate themes. I'm sure it could be separated, but as I've often said I'm no sound engineer and I don't have the equipment for that.

Got anyone

TROY by James Horner

and

The Thin Red Line by Hans Zimmer

RAPIDSHARE or MEGAUPLOAD please!!!!

thx and advance

Troy – by James Horner (2004)
Commercial release
320 kbps mp3 format
11 tracks
Part 1 – [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Part 2 – [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Caveat: My CD of Troy is scratched so that the computer locks up whenever I try to rip the last track, but it's the Josh Groban song, so I'm really doing you a favor by not including it. James Horner has developed a nasty habit of using the main theme of his score as the melody line in the tacked-on end credits song, so that you can no longer listen to the rest of the score without hearing the over-rated pop has-been-waiting-to-happen singing over it in the back of your head.

Personal statement of displeasure towards Timemperor: As FunnyML pointed out, Troy had been posted already recently. I should know, because I ripped it from my own CD and posted it myself on the 15th of June, a scant 14 days before your last request for it. When I went back (using the SEARCH function, as FunnyML pointed out to you) to find the previous link, what do I find but that I had posted it in response to a previous request by you, Timemperor. What the frell? If you're going to request this stuff and expect that people take the time to post it for you, at least have the decency to pay some frakking attention when they do so.

Hey, does anyone have or know where I can get a program to convert .WV TO .MP3???

.wv is a wavpack file. If you are using Windows, you can use either Foobar2000 or WavPack frontend [Only registered and activated users can see links] there's also a link for the WavPack Audio Compressor (codec) on the same page. Foobar2000 is more versatile as you can also convert FLAC and APE files. It may take a bit more setting up but it's worth it. Hope this helps.

If there's a technical problem, that's different. But still, you have to let me know that there's a problem. Just asking for it again creates the impression that you're not paying attention, and I get aggravated. My apologies if I've misread the situation.

I was also using rapidspread because:
A. It includes both MegaUpload and RapidShare as mirror sites, as well as and some others I've found adequate like Zshare and FileFactory, so I don't have to upload the same thing 4 times, which is an important consderation seeing as I'm trying to upload albums from my computer at the office and have a day job to work around.
B. The last I heard, using a mass-mirror site like Rapidspread makes it harder to track links so they don't get shut down nearly as fast as they would if I were posting directly to MegaUpload or RapidShare. Is this no longer the case?

Which files have I posted that you had problems with?

You didn't have to upload this one, my link ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) is still active.

I suppose not, but I see that yours is in APE format, while mine's in 320kbps mp3. I know I haven't figured out APE yet, and that I can't be the only one, so I figured a version already in mp3 might be a useful alternative. I'm not trying to step on your efforts or anything.

Meanwhile, for the same reason, Here's another one just to get the RAR off my hard drive:

For Iselianprince26
The Dark Crystal (Expanded Score) – by Trevor Jones (1982)
192 kbps mp3 format
30 tracks, 01:10:55
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Again, I know it was posted recently in APE after I had it RARed up but before I was ready to upload it; but I figure, as Benny Hill said in the old sketch when his dying patriarch asks why he called the undertaker instead of the doctor, "Cut out the middleman."

I am requesting two John Williams recordings in any format.

The First is John Williams conducting the Boston Pops Gustav Holst The Planets.
I think it's called
"Holst The Planets"
1986

THE PLANETS
Suite for Large Orchestra

1. Mars, the Bringer of War (6:45)
2. Venus, the Bringer of Peace (8:19)
3. Mercury, the Winged Messenger (4:11)
4. Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity (7:53)
5. Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age (8:24)
6. Uranus, the Magician (5:55)
7. Neptune, the Mystic (8:21)

with 6-part chorus of female voices

Get it while it's hot:

@ parker1:

I´ve seen earlyer in this tread, that you uploaded several Harry Potter Complete or expanded Scores. (2,3,5)

Unfortunately the links at Sendspace don´t work anymore. Would you be so kind and upload them again? Thanks a lot.

Could someone find the covers/booklet for Masters of the Universe? (1992 Edel release, not LaLaLand) Apparently there's some liner notes from Bill Conti, those would be interesting to read.

After pulling my copy out of the CD rack to scan the covers, I find that my copy doesen't have any liner notes from Bill Conti. In fact, the booklet is completely blank inside, with only the outside of the folder bearing any printing. The paper quality is unusually flimsy as well. I wonder if I've got some sort of bootleg that simply made color copies of the covers. It's disappointing, but here's the scans anyway, if you still want them.
