Even though scoreman has no rule for it (just for requests), I would suggest you include more infos on the stuff you post, like year, composer, quality and type of release (OST, promo, bootleg). Thank you.

Rule 3 has been edited from this:

Well, Varese released a Special Edition with a few extra tracks. Then someone else made an Expanded version including some extra tracks not on the Special Edition, but still omitting some pieces and now I've made the Complete Edition, with all the music in Robocop. So I was thanking whoever made that expanded version.
There can never be enough Robocop :-)

Well, Varese released a Special Edition with a few extra tracks. Wow!! I am really tempted to buy that even though it is under 40 minutes long because I am such a huge fan of Bill Conti's orchestral work. Maybe if i get a big payoff soon I will have to snag it up.

But Marco earned the second spot because of the awesome job with Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Underworld Evolution, The Watcher, and Blade II.

Unbelievable! I was all set to download the Public Enemies from Amazon - when I saw the tracklist - 6 tracks from Mr. Goldenthal (!) Only 6??
Which adds up to a little over 15 minutes of score???
They can keep it. And they wonder why they don't sell?
Anyone else find this ridiculous??

I think there are 7 score cues on the album. Yes, it's short, but better than nothing. There are not many bootlegs leaking out with Goldenthal's scores, so I guess it could be worse. Besides, I have no idea how much music there is in the movie, so I'll save my complaints until I saw the movie ;) And to me, the preview clips I heard are not very promising, maybe the 16 minutes of music will be sufficient ;) Looking forward to the next one, "The Tempest".

Anybody here, who actually saw Public Enemies yet?

I finally just broke down and bought it on iTunes. It has 16 tracks. It's a mixture of score and artists heard in the movie (Including Ten Million Slaves).

One thing I noticed it that Ten Million Slaves was used a lot for chance sequences during the film

I know parker1 was looking for the promo videogame score for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, because there were some themes of John Williams in it.. I would sertanly like to know if there is one.. If this one exists I would like to get my hands on this one as well!

And it would want to know if there is one too for the Half-Blood Prinse score by James Hannigan, because there are, too, some brilliant re-arranged John Williams' parts in it..!

I saw the film last night and I didn't think the score was anything special. Then again the movie wasn't anything too special either so it didn't really deserve a great score.

hello. i've just see than a GRAEME REVELL - RED PLANED (PROMO) exist
its one of my favourite score and i'm looking for it for a longest time, the soundtrack contain just 10 or 12 minutes of score and crapy remix of some part hearing in the movie.
if somebody can find it that will be verry much appreciate.
i'm also looking for the TERMINATOR SALVATION COMPLETE SCORE but i think i'm not the only one.LOL

Yeah. I refuse to believe that's all there was to his score to Public Enemies. Especially with all the hype on the commicals and ads. You'd think they would have an amazing longer score to it. Now if it was Marco Beltrami who did the score, he would surely have a longer score from the start. That's also why I like Marco Beltrami and John Debney. They seem to always have complete scores floating around. And even Hans Zimmer would.

for some strange reason I really don't think it's Beltrami, Debney or even Zimmer that's let their complete scores "float" around.....but it's great anyways. Unfortunally, Goldenthal's scores almost never have promos or CS/RS scores "floating" around. I guess the cleaning guy doesn't have easy access to swipe them when Goldenthal's not looking. :-P

That'd be Michael Mann for you! Which I really don't mind.....he's one of those directors that always picks good music for his films. The songs seem to blend in with the score quite well.

I find typing in "(COMPOSER) (MOVIE TITLE) soundtrack = download = blogspot = forum" (for example: John Debney Liar Liar score download blogspot) in Google almost always gives me what I want.....and if that doesn't work Filesearching sites like Filestube.com are usually pretty good at finding stuff too.....if all that fails, I search through these forums and then I do the ol' humble requesting. ;)

Miami Vice had loads of extra score tracks that didn't make the commercial soundtrack release. Obviously, we've had the promo score from John Murphy, but I'm interested in the extra tracks by Klaus Badelt & Mark Batson.

There are loads of recording sessions available out there. There are even more available if you know where to look or have contacts, such as myself. I currently have the sessions of 115 titles. What you have to watch out for are the ones mislabeled as "Recording Sessions" when really they're just complete, or even worse, a bootleg. Most of this mislabeling actually comes from restlessgypsy's laleyendawhatever forum he is a part of, and the circle of people. They tend to incorrectly label things as "Complete" or "Sessions" or "Promo" when most of the time they're bootlegs, or something else, as if every label is interchangeable.

Does anybody know if Mychael Danna's rejected score to HULK (03) ever leaked?

excerpt from Filmtracks.com review of Elfman's HULK score:
Arguably the most interesting casualty of Universal's last minute search for an answer was composer Mychael Danna. Contrary to many reports at the time, Danna, who had been one of Lee's regular collaborators and good friend on many projects, did indeed record a score for Hulk. It was by no means your typical superhero music, either. Encouraged by Lee to explore an compellingly worldly avenue for the title character (an instruction that must have seemed like a piece of cake for a man who writes such music in his sleep), Danna completed a work that contained a significant Arabic personality, though his Middle-Eastern vocals and employment of the Armenian duduk sometimes yielded to massive orchestral outbursts and even ripping electric guitar cues of contemporary appeal. Perhaps it's understandable why the studio was horrified by this music, but why then did they hire Lee to direct this project? Lee was obviously fond of the score, but after disastrous test screenings, the studio was ready for a big name replacement in the film's music department.

Okay, here's a bit of a tough one to locate, but since you guys and gals have come through with many other wonderfully hard to find scores, I'm giving it a shot.

The IN SEARCH OF... soundtrack album on AVI Records, released in 1977 and produced by W. Michael Lewis and Laurin Rinder, that featured the In Search Of Orchestra with Adam Strange on electric guitar and a host of
other noted musicians such as Harry Kim on trumpet/flugelhorn, Henry
Mora on trombone, Doug Richardson on saxophone, Steve Stewart on
acoustic guitar, John Hunt on electric guitar, a string section, and the
team of W. Michael Lewis on keyboards and Laurin Rinder on
drums/percussion. Executive producers were Ray Harris and Ed Cobb;
recorded at Producer's Workshop and engineered by Joe Bellamy"

I know of a couple folks who would be ecstatic beyond belief if anyone actually finds this one. Good hunting.

I believe the music on the regular soundtrack is the complete score, like everytime when it´s from edelman! ;)

Huh? I don't know of any soundtrack which ever had a complete Edelman score. Daylight... incomplete. Dragonheart... incomplete...

No, I think Edelman composed roughly 110 minutes of music, 30 minutes of that were then replaced by Debney's tracks. As for "Noon", I have no idea, if this one was complete.
By the way, you don't have the Edelman scores we mentioned?! What kind of Edelman fan are you ^^

As far as I know, no. There's a review of Sidekicks here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) with that cover, but they used the DVD for reviewing it. There seems to be no bootleg for this.

Yeah i know it´s realy dissapointing about that´s no complete score from edelman existing, but on the regular soundtracks are also good music on. not like hans zimmer where the best music is always missing on the soundtracks!
do anybody have now shang hai knights, please?

Hi everyone, not quite a soundtrack but considering these guys helped contribute to a couple of tracks for Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me, I guess it could be considered as tying in - does anyone have FOX BAT STRATEGY the new release from David Lynch? Mine seems to have been delayed from Amazon so wondering if anyone out there in the US has it already and is willing to share?

John wants to return to do the last one, but it's looking more like he may contribute a theme or two, but it's mostly going to be Nick Hooper. I like Hooper's score to OotP and I enjoy what I've heard of HBP, but I really wish John would come back.

It's all up to the director.
