I, myself, ripped the score from the DVD which contains thirteen tracks in 320kbps. Special thanks to Murnank (from IMDb) for the tracks, "Kill Wade/Discovering Camp Blood" "Old Tales of Camp Blood" and "Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma". The score contains minimal SFX that could not be edited due to it being an essential part of the score itself.

Edit: in fact I'd recomend mp3. As nice as it is to have such a collection spanning the series, I'm not sure some of the performances here warrant the lossless treatment.

I read Clemmensen review of Star Trek album on Filmtracks site, and he mentions the good perfomance of Horner's Klingon theme.
He gave 4 stars for the album, so yeah i'm a bit curious to listen now.

Nice job on the DVD rip of Friday the 13th, qwerty90221! The music was the only aspect of the entire film that I enjoyed and it sounds great here, thanks!

I've been working on a DVD rip of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film but I'm about to throw in the towel, the main problem is whenever the Turtles speak their voices are spread across nearly all channels making it hard to isolate the score itself. Any pointers?

Listening again to it just now, it's actually better than I remembered. Star Trek III is fairly well done and so are few of the McCarthys. It's just that I'm a massive Goldsmith fan, and the selections form his scores are really sloppily performed. Also there are way too many (bad) renditions of his main theme in the End Title arrangements. But a fun listen overall :)

I have a copy of the Wings Of Honneamise Super Collection. The first disc is identical to the regular release and is at 320k. The second disc is 4 demo tracks at 128k. If this is acceptable I can have it uploaded for you.

(Years ago I came across a copy of the regular album in FLAC, but I don't remember where or if it still is up.)

That'd be good, but you can't get the lossless stuff on an iPod without some downgrading, right?

If you find them in a high bitrate MP3 as opposed to a flac or whathaveyou I'd be extremely appreciative.

You could store them as wav, your iPod should support this. But I guess if you want an MP3 rip, you better do it yourself. If I would upload a lossy version as well, it would take more time for this, than for you downloading and converting the scores. Besides, everyone would prefer a different bitrate setting, that's why I always upload the stuff in the highest quality I have, so everybody is able to get it and downsize it for themselves.

If you use Windows (or Linux with WINE) then I highly suggest a program called foobar2000 which can convert from just about any format (like FLAC) to any format (like MP3 or M4A). It has a very nice profile already built-in for doing a 2-pass 256 ABR MP4 (aka M4A) conversion which gives great quality on an Apple iPod (I have the iPod Touch). I always rip my CD's to FLAC with EAC then use foobar2000 to convert to M4A for my iPod.

As for TWIN PEAKS ... I have the CD of FIRE WALK WITH ME and the first TV SHOW CD release but I guess at some point they did a 2nd CD of TV SHOW music (somehow I missed that ever happening but it appears that is out there). It took me until now to find it ... that was half the battle LOL

My stuff tends to be scattered about but when I did find it ... it was on a pile of TWIN PEAKS - FIRE WALK WITH ME, TWIN PEAKS (TV SHOW), BLUE VELVET and ERASERHEAD. Unfortunately I can't seem to locate my CD of LOST HIGHWAY which I starting to think is lost (no pun intended) because I literally cannot remember the last time I saw it. If you FunnyML or someone else have it I would love a lossless rip of it ---> LOST HIGHWAY (Nothing/Interscope INTD-90090)

One very easy to use option only works with Firefox. They have an add-on called Download Helper. Just click on the DH icon and it gives you several download options. It works with video too, I believe.

it's not even nice artwork....it looks cheap like Joe Blow's kid brother made it for art class.

I'm guessing this slipped through the cracks at Amazon, because they had a hard enough time releasing the original score and even then only made limited copies....why would they release an official expanded score?

yeah....i heard that....that's an insane price to pay for that score....i bought my copy brand new when it first came out for $25 canadian which is still pretty steep....i keep looking in used cd stores for it to sell them on ebay for a similiar price, if that's what the kids are willing to pay for it. Used CD stores are your best friend for rare or out of print scores. The dealers have no idea how much collector's will pay for some of these finds. I landed on a gold mine for some old Goldsmith scores once.

Yeah that's a bit wierd. The cover looks like it's the 50-Track version by Bootleggers First Born Records, as opposed to lesser quality 52 Track one that's been about for a while.

Maybe some clown in Amazon thought it was legit? I'm not surprised it's "unavailable" however

I'm still tossing and turning whether or not I wanna buy the actual cd for some scores, like Wolvy-reen (or just keep it on my drive, untill i eventually just toss it.......it's not my favorite, (far from it actually) but I have a nice look G-Williams collection that just won't be complete.........but yeah....i find the local record stores order less than 10 copies of his stuff then that's it (Beltrami too)......so i better make up my cuckoo mind fast.....cuz it'll be gone soon.

if anybody's interested, i expanded the Twin Peaks season 1 soundtrack by including 2 Julee Cruise songs that were on the show but never appeared on the soundtrack.

I'm loving this Lynch/Badalamenti love that's going on here recently with the Blue Velvet, Lost Highway & Twin Peaks talk going on......it's about time it happened here :-D

no score albums, but his soundtrack albums are just as good, the score and songs compliment eachother so well on INLAND EMPIRE and Mulholland DR. soundtrack albums.

The release for this was only on the 31st and it was ONLY released at a CD release function. Only way to get a copy is if someone went to that and has one.

Official release for the disc is on 6/16

I really don't think there is a score release for Pump seeing as it's a film mostly filled with Songs.....i'm guessing Martinez wrote 5 maybe 10 minutes worth of score for the film.

....but on the subject of Martinez, i did discover you could download score albums off of his official site....i just got the whole Kafka score off of it...it's only 160kbps....but i've never been able to find it anywhere else so this will have to do.
