And, on a side tangent, whether you had any of the scores to any AfterDark Horrorfest Films. Most of those films were scored by Elia Cmiral (I think...)..

And I am also looking for a lossless version of the Gremlins score, and lossless of Twister.

Yeah I am sure it's a classical piece...I heard it in it's original form on a Playboy video for the Van Breeschooten twins way back in 1989. :) Yes that game and the score is probably the scariest I have every played and heard.

First off. If someone can Sticky this Thread. I would be highly appreciative.

Now, the nature of this thread!
Everyone has that score, be it VGM or Film that they have been looking for for ages. Now i am a Hunter of such things. Sometimes i cannot come across the score people are after. But 9 times out of 10, assuming the score is released in some format, i can find it..

Now, as i say, everyone has that something they are trying to find. So i am putting myself into the position here as a hunter to get those scores. Now, there are a few basic rules that apply which i will go over now, to get them out of the way so everyone knows where they stand....Including Me!

Rule 1: You can request as much as you like, but once you have requested it, please do not keep asking if i have found it. Once i have found it i will let you know. If i cannot find it after 3 months, i shall give up and again, let you know.

Rule 2: If you request something, im sure you have stuff of your own, either bought, downloaded or suchlike. So i wil ask for those that wish for me to hunt to make a list, if they do not have one already, of stuffs they have. This is one way i actually hunt for scores, you never know, you may have something someone is after already.. If you are not prepared to send me a list of stuff you have, consider yourself not worthy enough for me to hunt for..

Rule 3: Please, when stating a score you are after, please add as much info about it as you can...IE:
Name of Score
Release...Wether it is commercially available, Promo, Complete etc
Name of Composer (im good, but memory isnt 100%)

And thats it for now...I will do my best for you guys here and all i ask in return is patience, respect, be thankful and send me a list....

My version sounds awful in terms of quality, I will try finding something higher than 128k. Meanwhile, you should give the movie a try. It's a nice thriller and the music just is better there, believe me.

back in the early 90's I was like 13 or so, i saw movies with Elfman scores in it, just because of his music, stuff like Nightbreed, Darkman, Dick Tray........ofcourse this led to me to the wonderul path towards CLive Barker and Sam Raimi......and the not so wonderful path that is Warren "headupmyass" Beatty.
I used to check out movies with early Beltrami scores....but stopped that after the Crow: Salvation.......i'm still trying to get my brain cells back from that one.

I didn't even know he wrote anything for it.........but atleast he's on for the sequel instead of Djawadi repeating the garbage he wrote for the first one.

EDIT: I can't even find anything on Debney ever having a rejected score at all.....do you know if he did write anything or is it just an assumption, because he's usually Favreau's go to guy.

budarc, thanks so much for Captain Nemo - an excellent score!! I'm a huge fan of Angela Morley (and intend to post a compilation of her music soon). The opening waltz sounds like it might have inspired Goldsmith for his love theme in Supergirl.

All I know is that when the film Iron Man was in production John Debney was already credited as the Composer. After Principal Photography is when I found out Debney was out and Ramin was in. I am just wondering if Debney ever wrote anything.

I am thrilled to learn that Debney is scoring the sequel. I thought Djawadi did a good job; however, it was too repetitive for my taste.

I'd have to say that John Powell is one of the best music composers for comedy-action like movies. Rat Race was like one of his best. "The Helicopter Dance" is my most favorite track. It actually makes me laugh sometimes I think just by all the comedic choir used in it. Evolution was another good one that was a comedy-action type of movie he scored. Both great scores. I'd have to say through X-Men: The Last Stand was his best.
