someone asked for dawn of the dead incidental music on here. well i have a 51 track version which has loads more music than the trunk records release. It has been a painstaking process of tracking the music down. Everything is on there all apart one piece..the swanee whistle mall muzak. Its not a dvd rip but the actual library tracks which a few friends and myself have be compiling for like forever! So let me know if ya want me to up. I've also got lots of other very rare stuff. Like the Police Academy ost with the score and the rare Jack Mack songs(except She's in my corner) and the others. so if ya have requests let me know. I'll try and complile a list when i've got time. oh and someone asked for return of the living dead 2..ive got the first 3 osts too.

Now, I do know that this post was quite a while ago, I wouldn't mind if you were to upload your Dawn of the Dead Incidental music. The Trunk Records release is alright, but I'd much prefer it if the tracks (Specifically the Mall Montage) were all on their own, instead of being meshed together. It's a pity that the Swannee Whistle Track hasn't been found yet.

Sadly, you're absolutely right. I had forgotten about the royalty fees from the first two movies. Still, this sort of thing has been done before, hasn't it?

There are some pretty good versions of the score already out there, so I'm not too heartbroken over this. (I'm still sore about a complete "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" release, though...)

true, but young stated in an interview wrote about ten new themes for SM3, that were ultimately dropped in favor of elfman's already established music. if they cut out the cut and paste music, keeping only spidermans theme, and youngs unused score, then bingo, no BIG royalties to SM1/SM2 & Orchestra. I Just wanna hear the final battle music on cd without sfx. ;(

Sorry fella, I only this or the various artists of the film. As for ripping the audio I could do that if I rented it but it would contain all of the sound effects & dialog because I have neither the software or knowledge to eliminate them from the mix.

Hey guys, I shared this in the lossless movie soundtrack thread, so thought someone here might enjoy it as well. David Byrne's The Forest in FLAC (my first FLAC conversion so I hope it turned out right). There are also high res scans of the long fold out booklet,the backer, and the cd. It is probably the strangest soundtrack I own, but it is enjoyable in its own right.
