Thanks,

Also, I had these on my "Links to post later" file, so I don't remember who asked for them, when, or if I already posted them, but just to safe here they are (again) before I clear my clipboard.

This is a collection of SEVEN cds with over SEVEN HOURS of music by the great Bill Conti. I should warn you ahead of time that this collection of music is both orgasmic and repetitive. If you love repeating themes then you will have a blast.

North and South is an Epic miniseries from the 80s about the civil war based on novels. From what i can get off the site, there were two books and each one was made into a series.

I characterize the music as warm, epic, grand, sweeping, powerful. The music is all recorded with full orchestra so there are numerous uses of horns, strings, percussion, everything you would expect. The main melodies in this collection are absolutely stunning. As soon as i heard the samples on Varese Sarabande's web site I had to order them and thanks to them being in my state, I got the music quickly.

North and South Book 1

hey...thought I throw this into the mix.....I write a blog of film score reviews (I know. I know. Everybody and their dogs write blogs...but on that note, there's this one dog, Rex, he writes killer blogs about Milkbones and the purpose they serve in the economy today)...nothing special, but I think it'd be interesting if any of you guys would like to donate their own reviews.....basically the perfect chance for you to ramble on about what you love......the blog doesn't get many hits, but the more writers, the better the chance of getting noticed.....hopefully......

PM me if you're interested and have the time.

I personally love MegaUpload (fast uploads, fast downloads!) and detest RapidShare (sloooooowww) but there are other good ones. I think RapidSpread is awesome because it spreads it out to several uploading hosts (which tends to last the longest, because our illegal shares take longer to weed out!). Probably my favorite file hosting site is SendSpace, because there is no waiting time or download limit. And it's FREE!!!

Until Zoran has a chance to reupload the Mega version, here is STTMP recording sessions in four parts on Media Fire again.

Star Trek The Motion Picture Recording Sessions. Complete (and I do mean complete!), 3 disc set. NO sfx. 320kbps. It includes just about every piece of music in the film, alternate versions of some of the themes, and even the original Horner themes that the director rejected because they didn’t have enough of a central melody.

After some searching, looks like the only official soundtrack that was released was the various artists cd by MCA Records.

Hey there. First off, fantastic job for all these soundtracks- great to know that there are enthusiasts out there dedicated to hunting down and sharing rarities.

I would like to formally request the Red Dwarf: Isolated Cues, by Howard Goodall. I think that Z_O_R_A_N has it floating around? I would be forever grateful if they were made available.

Thankyou for your time, and I do hope that you take my request into consideration.

Oh crap, I knew someone was gonna get around to requesting this one day. Here is the deal, I began doing a custom rip of my Red Dwarf dvd's last summer and half way through I had an accident on motorcycle. After my recovery I was unsatisfied with my rip so I scrapped it and started over. Since you requested it I will try to finish it up and post it ASAP.

Since my last post was lost in a flood of other messages as everyone re-posted the stuff that fell off the forum during the last blackout, I'm going to re-iterate the request here and add a second score.

If anyone has:

All right, I got a tricky one. Beauty and the Beast: Of Love and Hope the soundtrack to the TV series by Don Davis. I'd be great if someone had it.

Allright kiddies, now it's time for some TV material:

Star Maidens (1970 something)- Berry Lippman's zonked out score from a zonked out series:

Cartoon Themes (various dates)- A collection of old cartoon themes:

Giant Robo (1968)- No not the anime, the original live action series from the 60's, known in the States as "Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot":
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Lancelot Link Secret Chimp (1972)- An old Saturday morning 'live action' fave- performed by monkeys (I am not makeing this up). Music by The Evolution Revolution (I'm serious, you can't make stuff like this up!):
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Space 1999 (1975)- The RCA issue of Barry Gray's score for the first season.

Speed Racer (1968)- No, not the live action movie nobody went to see, but the original anime, otherwise known as "Mach A Go Go Go". Over an hour's worth of Nobuyoshi Koshibe's music, it even has both the American and Japanese themes plus the japanese sound effect for Chim Chim!
Part 1- [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Part 2- [Only registered and activated users can see links]

TV Commercials- Loads of old televison commercial tunes. Thank you, Don Pardo.

The Prisoner (1968)- Music from the frustrating, evocative and intrigueing cult classic with the music of Ron Grainer, Albert Elms and the unused music of Robert Farnon. Be seeing you.....:

Dear lord. Thankyou very much. I shall download, but, I shall purchase the lot from iTunes. Just to honor the memory of the late Patrick McGoohan.

I should have been more specific, my Prisoner download is the 40th Anniversery Edition and consists of three disc's of music. The torrent came up, it seems, right after McGoohan's passing.

For my next annoying post I shall present the following:

Fallout 3 OST- My nephew alerted me to the game and it's neato old school music and graphics. The 50's were such a great paranoid time...........oh yes, where was I- right- here's the soundtrack-OST, I mean ost:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Now as added bonus, here is some material that is not OST, just fun stuff; but it's not all that fun if you keep it to you'rself:

Allen Sherman, My Son The Nut- The borsch belt comedy of Allen Sherman, the Wierd Al Yancovic of his day (namely the 1960's):
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

The Ernie Kovacks Record Collection- The music selections- some comedic, some serious- of another early groundbreaking comedian:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Mad Twists Rock And Roll- One the novelty albums produced by Mad Magazine in the 60's. I dare anyone not to come away all emotional after listening to 'Agnes The Teenage Russian Spy':

More music to come.....so watch my smoke!

I saw the show as a kid when it first preemed as a summer replacement on CBS in 1968. I was hooked the moment I saw the opening title and heard Ron Grainers classic theme.

RIP Patrick McGoohan 1929-2009

Finished downloading The Prisoner, and it is, indeed, fantastic. I do now realise that it is the much larger, expanded, 40th Anniversary edition. And it has the version of the titles that I've been searching for a while now (If you know what I'm talking about, it's when the camera zooms in on No. 6's photo being typed over, with the little Guitar sting over it. Love that part.)

Once again, I am extremely thankful.

(Also, great to see so many Prisoner fans here. I've been to Portmeirion- went in the Summer. Really beautiful, and well worth going. Perhaps I'll go when a Prisoner Convention is on!)

And now it's time to wrap it all up with more osts:

It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963)- Your generation had 'Rat Race'(2001), my generation had this- and ours had a better ending. Anyway, here is Ernest Gold's bouncy score:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Philidelphia (1995)- Not the ost with all the songs, this is just all of Howard Shore's symphonic compositions:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Plan 9 From Outer Space- "Can you prove that it didn't happen?":
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Day Of The Triffids (1962)- Courtesy of composer Ron Goodwin:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Invasion Of The Saucermen (1957)- More jaunty music, this time from Ronald Stein:

[Only registered and activated users can see links] ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

The Time Machine (1960)- Ost from the George Pal classic composed by Jazz great Russ Garcia:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

The Taking Of Pelham 123 (1974)- Personally I don't think the upcomeing remake is gonna cut it. I mean the original film was able to capture New York City at it's grittiest and David Shires ost here was the iceing on the cake:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

That Darn Cat (1965)- From back in the days when Disney put out fun family films that weren't over merchandised and/or over hyped. With vocals from Bobby Darrin, Louis Prima and Bobby Troup:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

The Aviator (2005)- OST of the Martin Scorsesse/ Leonardo Dicaprio pic:

War Of The Worlds (1953)- The George Pal classic with the ominous tunes of Leith Stevens:

Gorath (1962) Kan Ishii

Hey qwerty, don't quote lists like that...it takes up too much space. Edit your post and either copy & paste just the soundtrack you are interested in or add these tags to the list.

Below is the most up to date list of all my soundtracks. A huge portion of them are from this forum's links and another huge portion is from Demonoid or other torrent sites. Credit goes to whomever uploaded them thus why I kept FlynnFlan's name on the folders that were from his Demonoid torrents. The listings are from the folder names so it may be a bit jumbled but for the most part contains the information that you need to know what form it is in. Please feel free to ask me bitrate, number of tracks, or other information you need. and most of all I hope I can share some soundtracks people haven't listened to before.

impressive list, might I request from you The White Oleander from Thomas Newman please, the link I found on this site is now dead
