I downloaded the Tangerene Dream version of Legend, but I am having a problem extracting it. It tells me there are no files to open. But I see them on my hard drive. Very confusing.

Some people password encrypt the rar file to keep snoopers that would remove them from the fileshare sites from seeing what the files are. Ask the person who uploaded it what the password is.

MadKalnod, I have a challange for you. I've been searching the web like crazy trying to find 3 cues from monty python and the holy grail by dewolfe music library. I've already found the lancelot attack music, but I need help finding, The music that plays when arthur fights the black knight, the music that plays when all the knights are marching up the hill at the end, and the music that plays at the end of the movie when all the knights attack castle ARRRGGGHHHH before getting arrested. (Warning! This is not the score to the beloved Disney animated series. This is the score to a little-known but very cheesy Sci-Fi Channel Original Movie of the same name. It's not bad, though, with some nicely spooky gothic horror riffs in the main theme. It kinda reminds me a little of Richard Band's work on Doctor Mordrid and Puppet Master)

The only John Van Tongeren stuff I've got is The Outer Limits and Poltergeist: The Legacy, both of which have been posted within the last couple of weeks. Check back a few pages, the links should still be valid.

As for Louis Febre, the only thing I can think of that I've got from him is Doctor Who: The Movie, where he's only a contributing composer with a couple tracks on a mostly John Debney album.

There is "apparently" a 40 track Brian Tyler score for Timeline. I'd put up a pic of the rear cover that lists all the songs, but the site is not letting me upload the picture, not sure why.

As for the rest, I have Doctor Who: The Movie. I'll rip it tonight, but no idea when I can post it as I have no clue if Sharebee's going to work.

I also have three tracks from Torchwood that I can throw into the folder as bonus tracks. There is no album-length Torchwood score (nor plans to release one) that I'm aware of, and these are to the best of my knowledge fan-made reconstructions. One is an extended mix of the main theme, "Mystery" is a spooky ethereal piece, and "Who Is Captain Jack?" is a tense cue that suggests action is imminent.

As for your earlier request for for the Big Finish Doctor Who audio dramas, I thought about it for a while, and here's what I've decided. I do have the first seven in the series, but I'd rather not put them up for grabs in this thread. I try to avoid posting current releases if I can help it, and I like Big Finish's work, and as with the trailer music people they're a small enough company that I feel guilty pirating their stuff because they get hurt by it more readily than the makers of soundtracks that have been out of print for 10 years. I'd prefer that people buy the full-length ones at at [Only registered and activated users can see links] (they've got the best prices I've seen, and since they're based in Indiana they don't charge trans-Atlantic shipping) because more sales means more new ones for me to buy later.

However, what I am willing to do is share some of the promotional freebies I've collected that you can't buy. Basically, once a year or so Big Finish releases an exclusive free CD that comes in an issue of Doctor Who Magazine. About an hour long, they contain some combination of the following:
* A complete short audio drama starring one of the Doctors (Last of the Titans, The Ratings War, No Place Like Home, and Living Legend), usually about 20-25 minutes long.
* A complete short audio drama starring one or more of the Doctor's sidekicks (The Coup, Silver Lining, and The Veiled Leopard), usually about 20-45 minutes long.
* The first chapter of a commercially available Big Finish audio drama (Storm Warning, Invaders from Mars, and Dalek Empire II: Dalek War Chapter 1), usually about 20-25 minutes long.
* Interviews and behind the scenes clips on the making of the audio series.
* Previews of three or more upcoming stories from Big Finish, basically the audio equivalent of movie trailers, anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes each.

MadKalnod: Thanks. I was sorta half-kidding about the audios the second time. I did find a rather large collection of them on a torrent, but it takes so blasted long to download any that I only downloaded two sets (Sirens of Time and Zagraous.) Basically, it's just not worth the time.

But that site looks awesome. I see they even have the Eighth Doctor comics that I've looking for. I'll probably get a few things there when I actually have something to spend.

edit: No Fourth Doctor scarf though. Really could use one for Halloween...

not sure how many songs you are wanting from NoES 3, I only remember the two Dokken songs being in them, both of which I have. I got those, because at the time they were the only part of the soundtrack I could find to purchase. I will upload them now for you. Let me know what other songs for the movie you want, I may have them also.

Yeah it is a strange feeling. There are still scores I want that were never released and I haven't found, but they were so far down the list, I was okay if I never found them, and it seems lately that everytime I see a movie in theaters with a score I want, It's been released, with the ques I wanted as well. So, haven't had many additions to my list of late.

Eventually. I purchased it off Itunes, and thus the files are protected. I'm going to have to burn it to a disc and then rip it before I upload it. That must of have been why, I didn't first watch The Nightmare on Elm Street series until I was in the 6th grade ('96) and didn't set out to find the scores until about a year later, when I guess only New Nightmare was still in print.

I've heard that computers are region coded like regular dvd players, but I've never once had a problem with regions on anyone of my computers. I've watch PAL DVDs imported from Russia then switch to a NTSC DVD from here in the states without any problems.... I have no idea why.

I don't have any City of Prague Philharmonic Star Trek album. I've got one by Eric Kunzel and the Cincinatti Pops, and one by some clowns with a synthesizer and the temerity to call themselves an orchestra, and one that's just a compilation of the original tracks taken from the first five movies, but nothing by the CoPP.

I have the one by Eric Kunzel and the Cincinatti Pops (Symphonic Star Trek.) I also have "The Music of Star Trek: The First 30 Years" by the London Pops Orchestra, which I think may or may not be very similar to SST.

The "clowns with a synthesizer and the temerity to call themselves an orchestra" almost sounds like The New World Orchestra, which I have a trio of Star Wars soundtracks from them. However, it doesn't appear they did any Trek pieces.

Try seeing if the original files are read only. right click, properties. IF it is turn it off.
