If you still work on this thread, can you find me these two movie OST's? The movies are The Myth and The Promise. Sadly all my music was deleted (had to format and the files wouldn't move to the external HDD). If so, can you get me 'em? They're a pain finding.

Hello...

Would it be possible to have you upload the complete score for Hellboy? There's a specific cue I'm looking for (underwater scene near end, LOTS of juicy low brass playing) that didn't make it onto the "official release".

Thank you very much!

Allright, I have a rare one that I hope someone has Fire and Ice the soundtrack from the animated movie, I really hope someone recognizes this.

And I'm still looking for the Dungeons and Dragons Movie soundtrack in case someone missed my earlier post.

As far as Fire and Ice goes, I've seen the film, and am amused by the way our blond hero is basically there just to stumble into trouble until he meets the movie's real hero in the form of prehistoric Batman, but I don't have the score for it.

And I did miss your earlier post, so here goes. Get it while it's hot:

As for Hellboy, the CD should be back in my office, so it'll take me a day or so to retrieve and rip it if you really want it (unless my brother still has it and then all bets are off). However, I'm pretty certain that it doesn't contain anything not included in the 2-disc version I posted above.

I'm looking for the version of the JAWS soundtrack that was released in 2000. It's completely re-recorded, is conducted by Joel McNeely and performed by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

Here's the Amazon.com listing ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).

MadKalnod - Would you be willing to upload Future World Music Volume 1, 2 &4 as well as the Supernatural score? It would be much appreciated.

I don't have any of the scores you are looking for but I'll post my list of albums I own as soon as I compile it and if there is anything you or anyone else needs from it just ask. Thank

Sorry, Slovaksoul, but I can't post any of the trailer music. I know that both Immediate Music and Two Steps From Hell are watching these forums, and their complaints shut the whole place down for a few days, so I won't run the risk that the other comapanies aren't paying attention to what gets posted as well. I'm going to edit my original list to remove them just to be on the safe side.

Still, here's Supernatural by Christopher Lennertz (mp4 Format)

Hi everyone, my first post here been lurking for a while. I have a handful of exceedingly difficult to find albums/music (some of which were not officially released) I would love to get copies of. And yes, I know my tastes are far off the beaten track.
1) ANY unreleased background music to the Moonlighting tv series
2) ANY background music (besides the sung tahiti songs) to Real Ghostbusters
3) ANY music besides the 16 minute suite of the Richard Bellis IT score
4) ANY score music to the movie "CLUE".
5) The Hocus Pocus promo score
6)ANY background music/scores to Macgyver tv show, or tv movies ( I have a very strange german remix of some of the electronic scores but most of what is on this album doesn't seem to appear in the actual show).
7) soundtrack/score to a anime movie: Wicked City (or also called Supernatural Beast City).
8)The soundtrack to "Biggles Adventures in Time" with music by Jon Anderson of Queen.
9)ANY background music/score to Ducktales tv series (not the movie I already have that).
10) I am interested in background music/scores to almost any 70's/80's detective tv shows such as: murder she wrote, Simon & Simon, Riptide, Hardy Boys Nancy Drew hour, Magnum PI, Columbo, etc.
11) Like someone else said on the board, any Shuki Levy soundtracks especially mysterious cities of gold.

I don't have a lot of trade stuff but if anyone shoots me a list of what they are looking for, I will see if I have any of it, but please be patient I am new to this area of computers and have never really uploaded anything to a share server before so it may take me a bit to figure it out.

Someone in the thread earlier wanted Casper... I have a copy of the official soundtrack release if thats what you meant? I don't know the names of the tracks though because its a burn from a friends official cd. If this is what you want, then I will try to figure out this uploading thing for you and get it up there, just let me know.

I know what I am looking for is ridiculously difficult to find, and I am sorry I am just hoping someone can help. Thanks.

Hoo-kay, now, MadKalnod. Ready for a REAL challange?

I know in advance that you probably won't be able to get this, but if you do, your incredible score hunting skills will be praised by me for the rest of the time I spend over this planet.

All right then, now, on to business:

I'm looking for the music used as background in the Megas XLR animated series.

The problem with this music is that it is most of it is "file music" (also known as "stock music" by some people).

"File music", as you may know, is music from a big library that anyone can pay a fee to use, instead of commissioning music to a composer specifically.

Now don't waste your time looking for the main theme by Ragtime Revolutionaries. It has been overleaked and I have it already. I'm talking about the background music used in the episodes of the series. I'm particularly interested in the rock-like battle themes.

Now if you can get me this music, I'll acknowledge you as THE film score/VGM hunter and not only that, but also as a semi-god not rechable to any of us feeble, mortal members of this forum. I hope you have a good haul. Good luck!

tigertail777 - those House scores by Manfredini would be ideal.

Is there much of a difference between that and the two John Williams scores (OST and Anniversary OST)? I have both of those but skipped over the Joel McNeely one when I came acrossed it. Sort of assumed it was just the same tracks re-recorded by a different conductor.

That's pretty much all it is. But a different conductor and a different orchestra can really change the way it sounds -- read some of the Amazon.com reviews, and you'll see more than one person referring to it as the definitive recording -- which is why I requested it. I'd like to hear it before I buy it.

OK still working on ren and stimpy, I went to sharebee for it its over half uploaded now. I will work on the House ones here soon for you spike.

I was looking over my harddrive and also found the following:

Bill and Ted Excellent Adventure/Bogus Journey score---David Newman
Day of the Tentacle (video game soundtrack)
Evil Dead the Musical
Cutthroat Island expanded score---John Debney
Poltergeist soundtrack
Poltergiest 2 deluxe soundtrack
The Fantasy World of Bernard Herrman
Ladyhawke--Alan Parsons
Conan---Basil Poledouris
Red Dawn---Basil Poledouris
Karate Kid---Bill Conti
Babylon 5 messages from earth---Christopher Frank
Spacehunter---Elmer Bernstein
The Day After Tomorrow---Harold Kloser
Battle Beyond the Stars---James Horner
Bravehart---James Horner
Deep Impact---James Horner
Star Trek 2 Wrath of Kahn---James Horner
Star Trek 4 the voyage home---Leonard Rosman
Local Hero---Mark knopfler
Sheena---RIchard Hartley
Firestarter---Tangerine Dream
The Keep ---Tangerine Dream
Dune (original release and special editions)---Toto
The Killing Fields---Mike Oldfield
Gettysburg (2 disc)---Randy Edelman

And one I forgot before that I own the actual cd releases:
Music for Tv Dinners volume 1
Music for Tv Dinners volume 2
(these are the sprightly background music pieces used in old 50's and 60's tv commercials, and a lot of them were used in the Ren & Stimpy show).
I also have somewhere on my computer but have to find it: a huge amount of the same kind of stuff from the tv vaults library that has never been released but was also used in the Ren and Stimpy show. Its around 80 tracks or so that someone put together and really great stuff.

Okay Spike after I get the House ones up I will do the Bill n ted ones for you, I do really enjoy the scores of Bill n Ted I found it by chance torrenting. Like the House Scores though, its a single cd combining the two movies (I really hate it when they do that I would rather have a full single score). And I think I may have one or two more folders hidden away of soundtracks because I swore I had a nice fan made mostly complete version of The Shining somewhere. I know I also have more Les Baxter non movie albums around too if anyone is interested. Oh yes... and somewhere I have a actual bought cd of the Misery Soundtrack ( I think I must be the only one that rushed out and bought a copy after seeing the movie).

Now the kind of soundtracks/scores I like are the ones where the sound is so unique that it links itself with the movie in such a way that it cannot be mistaken for any other music and stands well on its own outside of the movie as well. Soundtracks in this category to me would include; creepshow, Children of the Corn, Vertigo, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Heavy Metal Movie score, Young Sherlock Holmes... well you get the idea. If you have any soundtracks that are unique and the entire thing really stands well by itself that is in the horror/adventure/fantasy genres Please by all means tell me I am always up for new stuff even if I havn't seen the movie. I also like hard to find tv show soundtracks especially detective, adventure, fantasy, horror, or background music to cartoons such as Scooby Doo,Ducktales,Mighty Max etc.

I was having trouble downloading the House/House II score earlier -- I downloaded it all the way to 100% and then it froze and I had to start over. It may have just been a general sharebee problem earlier in the evening.

I've uploaded a couple of files tonight, and so far it seems to be working. Try uploading Bill and Ted directly to one of the sharebee sites (like [Only registered and activated users can see links]) and see if that works. Just remember that some of these sites can't handle files bigger than 100MB, which could be causing you trouble. If you're trying to upload a file bigger than 100MB, you might need to break it up. Or, try uploading it to [Only registered and activated users can see links] (I think the maximum file size is 1GB there).

I do not know what I can offer in return as my collection is quite limited but any help would be appreciated. Do you have the piece of music that's missing from the soundtrack release of Star Wars - Return Of The Jedi? The music is heard twice in the movie and yet it has never been released in any form, even when the "entire" soundtrack was released on CD.
The music is first heard where Chewbacca is being carted off to Jabba the Hutt's dungeon.
The second time it is heard about ten minutes later in the film when Jabba the Hutt's desert sail barge is crossing the dunes to the sarlacc pit. On both occasions the music is being played by Jabba the Hutt's band.
I wonder if you have a copy of this elusive track....there may be a bootleg of it kicking around someplace??? Otherwise you may have some information as to why this music is missing.

Original Mobile Suit Gundam Soundtrack

To quote Michael Palin in Monty Python's Jungle Restaurant Sketch, "There may be... (ominous pause) some delay." Sharebee simply doesn't want to cooperate tonight, but I've ripped and am in the process of archiving the entire Babylon 5 canon. I'll post them in chunks as time permits.

The Star Trek: Enterprise Rare Scores bundle was posted sometime a week or two ago, a few pages back.

Sadly, I got nothin' as far as Expanded Generations, Animated Trek, and Gundam are concerned, but I know I've seen assorted versions of Gundam posted on various threads around this forum, even if I can't remember where or which ones right now. It may not be the one you're looking for, but there's good odds it's around here somewhere.

I've downloaded all the stuff I have from this forum and GH, do I still have to tell of the tracks I have? Let's see...Pokemon Battle Revolution, Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon XD, Pokemon Dash, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon TCG GB 2, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Pokemon Emerald, and Mario Kart DS. Oh, and both Pokemon Stadium soundtracks.

Anyways, can anyone rip or find:

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness (Japanese names: Pokemon Fushigi no Danjon Toki no Tankentai and Pokemon Fushigi no Danjon Yami no Tankentai)? Anyone who finds a OST or a complete, high-quality soundtrack will be my hero forever.

Okay first off, stop yelling. Wait patiently and ask nicely. We are not your slaves to order around on demand. Anytime someone fulfills a request it is done as a favor, it is not a right.
Secondly, I am downloading it now and will try to find some way to make it a non RAR file, but I don't have much experience with zips.

slovaksoul
02-12-2008, 09:12 PM
Secondly, I am downloading it now and will try to find some way to make it a non RAR file, but I don't have much experience with zips.

If you have winzip, you can just right click and click "add to (file name).zip"

If can't create a zip and can only create a RAR, upload it and I can convert it from RAR to zip.

tigertail777
02-12-2008, 09:20 PM
Hmm well, in doing a bit of research on zip it seems that RAR is not only better but WinRAR fully supports creating and extracting ZIP archives, so choosing WinRAR doesn't mean you'll be forced into using the RAR compression format.

Based on that info, I tried an experiment: I changed the file extension from .RAR to .zip and it still seems to work fine. You might try to do that first, if that doesn't work I will still see what I can do about making a zip somehow. But honestly zip is getting to be close to a dead format with most folks it sounds like. Here is one of the better pages I ran across about RAR VS: zip:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Let me know if changing the extension works, if not I will see what I can do if your patient and polite. If not I guess you can try to find it elsewhere.

Here you are Mathis. National treasure book of secrets. And you can thank Tigertail777 for getting me the RAR file so I could convert it to zip.

But please note that there are certain rules and etiquette for this thread.
You can read them on the very first page of this thread. But in short, when making a request, only request it once. This is out of respect for everyone else. Follow this and people will be more likely to help you out when they find what you are requesting. Some request take longer to fill, but be patient and it will eventually be filled.

If you keep posting the same request over and over again people will probably get annoyed and be less likely to fill requests. You're new here, so I understand if you didn't know the rules.

Okay, I've got an unusual question/challenge for anyone here who might know... I know that the original score for Hitchcock's Psycho (as recorded for the film) has never been officially released - there are two re-recordings out there. I do have the bootleg version of the original score, but it's got a LOT of tape hiss, and the cues are all mashed together.

So, my question is about the Psycho laserdisc - I don't have it unfortunately, but I know that it has the isolated score (sadly, the DVD doesn't have this). What I'm wondering is if anyone has this laserdisc, and if so, how is the sound quality of the iso score? Just wondering if it's worth it to somehow record the iso score from the laserdisc - would the sound quality be decent, or does the LD have all that hiss? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Not a clue dsguardian, but I am betting the bootleg one was originally made pre laserdisc probably from a vhs. As a big Hitchcock fan I think it would be worth a shot I have been wanting a "definitive" psycho score myself. Boggles my mind why varese or someone hasn't released one.

The full version of "Lost Carol" The background music playing when Douglas confronts Claudia in the amusement park. [Only registered and activated users can see links] I want the full version of this - all 2 or so minutes of this.

The official soundtrack only put the first 30 seconds as an intro on it, and every complete, full, unreleased fan made Silent Hill 3 soundtrack has failed to include the full 2 minutes of this.

So any masters of game ripping out there who has SH3 willing to rip this without dialogue and sound effects for me? Or teach me how to do it myself? Thanks

I have a reaaal toughie. I'm looking for a Russian compilation of Charlie Chaplin's film scores, which I've seen only on Russian MP3 websites (like MP3Sparks). It's listed as being from 2000, and it has 57 tracks. Here's a link ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).

Of my own, I have little to offer that's rare:

Keoma - Guido & Maurizio De Angelis

But I'll upload if anyone wants it.

Can anyone help find these "Hard to Find" gamerips and movie scores
to add my Thread (My Rare Soundtrack Wherehouse)

BATMAN BEGINS (Complete Score) - Hans Zimmer & James N. Howard

Superman Returns (Complete Score) - John O.

At least two of those can be found elsewhere on the forums, if you run a search in the Download Links forum.

Sorry for the delay, but I’ve been singularly unwell lately. However, I no longer require a constant infusion of hot liquids to remain conscious and keep my nasal passages open, so I’m picking up where I left off.

The saga continues to continue with these discoveries in the dimensionally-transcendent pockets of MadKalnod's rumpled trenchcoat full of music.

I just posted Superman Returns, and Batman Begins is a few pages back.

I've got the commercial release CD for The Mask, which has tracks scoring scenes not in the final cut, but I don't know about "complete".

I just do what I can, citizen.

I had a look at the rar, and it unpacks fine on my hard drive. Try downloading another copy, maybe from a different source that last time, and see if it's still troublesome. Sharebee gives you four options, I should hope at least one of them works. If it still disagrees with you, let me know and I'll re-upload it.

The Score That Does Not Exist?????

Hi,

I wasn't ignoring you, I've been having technical problems with Sharebee since Sunday night.

This version's got 23 tracks, and while I don't know if it includes the segments you refer to specifically, at least they aren't named as such, it does feature music from scenes cut from the final film.

Get it while it's hot:

Supergirl - by Jerry Goldsmith

And incidentally, a bit of friendly advice on forum ettiquette. Multiple requests for the same item in one 24-hour-period are not generally looked upon with favor 'round these parts, and are likely to get you dismissed as an impatient spaz. So settle down in future, Mmkay?
