I'd like to request the soundtrack to the 1967 movie adaptation of "Doctor Dolittle" starring Rex Harris, and according to the IMDB and amazon.com, music by Leslie Bricusse.

This is an extremely rare soundtrack but I found it. ;)

I apologize in advance if this was requested before, but does someone have the Blade Runner (1982) the "Off World Music" Bootleg by none other than Vangelis (my favorite composer)? I did a Wiki research so I hope that helps.

It consists of 18 tracks with disk time of 72 minutes -- not the incomplete version (both 1982 and '94) nor the New American Orchestra version (sans Vangelis) which was the official release. I can also settle for the '94 version.

I've heard so much about the OST, of how we have so many versions that one can count even a new 2007.

Put simply, I'm interested in the 18 track bootleg as it's claimed to be definitive of the movie.

I have been very grateful of you all with your help, and I appreciate of any leads you come up with.

Thank you.

I have a few versions of the bootlegs which you can get HERE ([Only registered and activated users can see links])...I suggest you get the "Definitive Edition", it contains 44 tracks tracks on 3 CD's and is very rare.

[QUOTE=MadKalnod;1136035]I've only got the one Millennium. I've never seen the other anywhere.

Still, get it while it's hot:

Millennium: Contains themes from the episodes “Pilot/The Frenchman,” “Marantha,” “Jose Chung’s Doomsday Defense,” “Midnight of the Century,” “The Time Is Now,” “Omerta,” and “Goodbye to All That”, plus a suite from “Force Majeure” as a bonus track – by Mark Snow

As for The Omen by Marco Beltrami, I don't have it, so I don't know if this is the commercial release or not, but there's one here with 16 tracks:

*palmtoface* Once again, I could have saved myself and everyone else a lot of time if I would have looked. Thanks...

Still looking for any theme remixes for B5 or Doctor Who, or a website that has some (someone should really set up a website for fan remixes of TV show and movie themes... there's a couple VG remix sites and an anime remix site, so why isn't there one for TV/Movies?)

I don't know about Babylon 5, but as for Doctor Who mixes, have you been to Whomix?
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

I especially like the versions called Regenerations 2008, A Capella Who, Nightmare Groove, Howellaround V2, Hardwire's McGann Theme, Eaglestriker's Possible Film Music, For a Darkened People, and Zer0sen's rock version.

Fabulous list, MadKalnod.

I was wondering if any of the VG OSTs you mention has a real orchestra score (or a very good synth simulating well enough an orchestra) ?

I've given them a listen, and here are the results, All of them use synthesizres instead of a real orchestra, but some fake it better than others. Here's how I'd rank them in order from "Sounds Most Like a Real Orchestra" to "Sounds Least Like a Real Orchestra:

Star Trek: Klingon Academy – by Inon Zur (Has real chorus singing Klingon battle hymns)
Star Trek: Legacy – by Rod Abernathy and Jason Graves
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy - by Ron Jones and Brian Luzietti (Sounds a lot like one of Ron's TNG episodes, but more synths)
Star Trek: Bridge Commander – by Danny Pelfrey
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Fallen – by Stephen von Kampen
Star Trek: Armada – by Danny Pelfrey
Star Trek: Tactical Assault - Sounds like MIDI files

Which ones did you want posted?

I concur that tracks 1-8 work perfectly but track 9 stops abruptly. Tracks 10-28 are broken and wont play at all...also the cover jpg and presumably the track list are unreadable as well. Could you try re-zipping the files and do a test extraction before uploading this time to ensure all files are properly compressing? We would greatly appreciate it Tangaroa. ;)

Okay, I finally got this down. The first link is from megaupload, and although it has the name JC- MC, it is the first part the album. Next is when you extract it, it'll ask for the name that you extracted from, but choose the other one you haven't extracted yet, and it'll work out. (Like if you start to extract the JC - MC part first, it'll ask you to find another .rar file with the same name, but instead click browse and find and click the one that says Mulan The Complete Score.part2.rar and it'll finish extracting.) Long, I know, but it'll have to do for now.

I am a big fan of the show and Bear McCreary however I thought the main title was written by Danny Elfman. Mark Mothersbaugh I know from the eighties band Devo who has gone on to score several movies as well as Danny who was the front man for Oingo Boingo. I am not that familiar with John Enroth.

Thanks for starting this thread and taking the time and effort to find all these different request. as you seem to be able to find most tv/movie score's, i was wondering if you could find the scores from the gerry anderson shows, Stingray and Captain Scarlet. Both were scored by barry gray in 1964 and 67. Both were released comercially but as limited editions of which i can't find anywhere.
Hope you can find them for me :)

Could you do Medal of Honor and then one Lennertz one (whichever you feel is the best). Also, if you could do a third, I'd like Airborne.

I appreciate it!

Since only two of them are bigger than 100MB, and I like them all equally, I'm just going to post them all.

Get 'em while they're hot:

I have a small question that hopefully somebody could answer. Does anybody know of place were you can get CD cover art scans? I have a handful of discs with no art and would love to get them so they could be printed and put in a jewel case (meaning front and backs...yeah, I know, but I still like having CD's on a shelf).

Thanks for any help anybody can provide and hopefully this is the right place to ask.

The Incredibles Video Game score? This is the very item that you pestered OrangeC about in his "Goldmine of Stuff" thread so obsessively that he lost his temper with you and chewed you out about it twice. You didn't work "really, really, really hard on this", OrangeC did it for you while you made an utter nuisance of yourself demanding it every twelve hours.

By offering this as a reason why I shouldn't cut you off for your behavior, you have replaced the man who killed his parents and then begged the court for mercy because he was an orphan as the official definition of chutzpah. You have either balls of solid brass or brains of solid granite. My money's on the latter.

Your appeal is denied, my judgement stands, and all you've accomplished is to leave me with an even lower opinion of you than I had before.

For those who want the voyager music, you'd have to go directly in the .pak3 files in the main game folder and you should be able to get the music directly from there. I remember when I had the game, thats how I did it.

Unfortunately I no longer have it the game, nor did the save the music at the time, but if you download it from somewhere and install it, thats how you'd be able to get the music.

New DVD rips for the remaining JLU episodes I haven't ripped(all of season one, two and three) are forthcoming and should be done and uploaded by next week(don't quote me, though). So in addition to whatever Kalnod uploads, rips for season one, two and three will be available in a new thread devoted to JLU(and will also be available in a totally new thread for my rips, including Smallville, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek Enterprise and Justice League season two).

So far, I have all of season one, working on season two(currently on "The Balance") and have five more episodes to rip for season three. So just a little heads up on the JLU music front(since it was being talked about by Kalnod and agraves611). We may not have any CD releases yet(which is just ridiculous), so I hope all of these rips are satisfactory for everyone until we do get official releases.

OK, people keep talking about a Sarah Connor Chronicles soundtrack on this and some of the other topics. Is there any information released about this like a possible release date?

Bear McCreary confirmed it on his blog. He says there is no date yet, but to expect it before the end of the year.

Which Batman extended bootleg are you referring to?
I've got complete DVDRips of Batman (1989) and Batman Returns, 2-disc composer's promo bootlegs of Batman and Robin and Batman Begins, and a single-disc complete promo bootleg of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

As for Superman: The Movie, are you referring to the commercial release or the 2-disc complete score from the 8-Disc Superman: 1978-1988 boxed set?

First off, you are AWESOME!

Anyway, it was the original 1989 film I was referring to, but if there's an extended version of Batman Returns available I'd LOVE to get my hands on that as well. Batman Returns is my favorite film score.

As for Superman, the complete score of course would be preferable since it's not available to buy separately, but I'd be happy with anything I can get.

Thanks again!

I have a question for you. I have your rip of Epilogue (THANK YOU for that, by the way) and I was wondering, how did you get rid of/reduce the volume of the dialogue and SFX? Because I wanted to try my hand at doing that for some of the Batman: The Animated Series episodes that music isn't currently available for.

KalEl1029-

Thanks for the heads-up on the Sarah Connor Chronicles by Bear McCreary. Having to play the waiting game sucks but it'll hopefully be worth it.

And please let us know when you have the JL(U) music thread up.

Thanks again to you and MadKalnod for the DC Animated/Live Action TV series scores!

For those who want the voyager music, you'd have to go directly in the .pak3 files in the main game folder and you should be able to get the music directly from there. I remember when I had the game, thats how I did it.

Unfortunately I no longer have it the game, nor did the save the music at the time, but if you download it from somewhere and install it, thats how you'd be able to get the music.

...don't download. Buy it. ;)

But the man's right. Same for STEF2. It appears to be VBR'd--but 70% of it's 320kbps. :) I plan on doing an "official" soundtrack release sometime soon, with custom album art and a complete tracklist, if anyone cares.

Dear BBsee,

Thanks for the Escaflowna soundtrack (can't spell it), I listened to it and its amazing, but when I uploaded it was not in the symbol of (God I suck at explaining this) the itunes thing like everyones else's when something is uploaded. Please, could you upload like the other people (what ever that means) so I can really listen to this masterpiece...THANK YOU SO MUCH. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that its in Flac format, I really don't know but really want to listen...lol. Thanks again.

Stop working, we've lost your wage !

Actually, since today's my birthday, I've been off the clock since 4:00 PM EST, and it's questionable how much actual "work" got done before that.

Still, my mouse is acting up and I can't right-click to copy and paste links right now, so I'm calling it a night.

I try, citizen, I try.

I'll RAR up the two Batman DVDRips, but I don't think I can post them tonight, as outlined above. I will warn you that, as DVDRips (or at least, DVDRips not made by KAlEl1029), SFX and dialogue echoes are intrusive in places.

Well good sir let me first start off by saying that this is quite possibly some of the best choir I have heard. I'm astonished that this hasn't made an impact in the soundtrack community, it truly is a gem. I can now study for my AP test, because I was not about to study and not have this music in the background. Now I can listen to this, do my hw, and drown-out the voice of McCain in the background (no offense if your pro-cain). Thanks again:)

I hope you had a great day and if karma were kind to you then you are sharing some time with a redheaded costume wearing honey.(redheads are my preference as well) Mouse problems eh?...I would send you a new one if I could. Old style ball mice suck so get you a optical mouse instead unless you are a gamer in which case a laser mouse would be best.

Best wishes,

Actually, I meant Voyager as in episodes(I currently have "Year Of Hell" and "Once Upon A Time"), not Elite Force. I do own Elite Force(awesome game), but I wouldn't know how to actually rip it(I'm not good with ripping games, but DVD's I know). So Alphaleon is probably a better bet for getting Elite Force music.

I'm glad you enjoyed the "Epilogue" rip. I love the music in that episode. The reprise of the Batman theme all rocked up at the end is awesome.

I use Analog X Vocal Remover(which is a free program) to isolate the music. It doesn't always work and I need a DVD rip of the audio for it to actually work. Sometimes the sound is just mixed in a certain way that it's impossible, and other times it sounds awesome. It's pretty much a 50/50 shot. Once I have a DVD rip of the audio, I take it into Sony Vegas and use Analog X. After that, I go through the audio, clean up any loose sound effects, separate the music out into tracks and name them. Then I put them into a nice little folder and that's it. It's fairly simple, but it takes a lot of work to clean up all of the little, tiny sound effects that can still linger here and there.

Hope that helps.

Kal
