It is a really amazing soundtrack by Randy Edelman , so awesome that i had to order it as soon as i finished listening to the album once through. If you like big orchestral scores with a hint of violin and asian instruments, dl it and enjoy although a few mummy ost fans might be dissapointed in the lack of egyptian sounds to it.

For anyone interested in the Mongol soundtrack, mine just shipped yesterday from Amazon so I will be ripping it and posting it in this thread fully tagged and all that in 320kbps mp3s. I can not emphasize enough how amazing that soundtrack is and anyone who has seen the movie will agree with me.

I have not seen the Mongol but I am intrigued by your recommendation and I am appreciative of your offer to rip it for us...many thanks in advance. :)

I have not seen the Mongol but I am intrigued by your recommendation and I am appreciative of your offer to rip it for us...many thanks in advance. :)
I would rip it myself anyway to put on my zune so i can play it in the car and at work (i never bring original cds into the car for fear of losing or getting them stolen). Once its ripped i would tag them out of compulsion and uploading is a simple task.

This score is a powerful orchestral work combined with tribal, gutteral vocals both male and female that are interwoven with the music and some traditional chinese instrumetns you dont hear all the time in film scores. I believe this is the composer's first score to be released in the US and it is a fantastic one that everyone should check out.

If anyone has any of his other work please please upload it and above all enjoy and comment on what you think of this. If you want the album art it is in the file tags and on amazon.com.

I've got a complete Spider-Man 1, but it's not 2-Disc. It's 40 tracks and about 80 minutes. Would that suffice? I've never seen any evidence of a 2-Disc version.

I have a Dark Angel pilot score, but it's byJoel McNeely, not Jan Hammer. Is the Jan Hammer album another unrelated film of the same name?

I've got a 2-Disc Complete version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Is this what you're looking for, or do you want the shorter commercial release which I don't have, unfortunately?

Hmm, I notice my Battle Balls arcade game soundtrack request didn't make the list. Heh.

Bad form though it may be, I have more requests to toss into the fires of soundtracking passion:

This is going to sound like a very strange request but my Sister tells me that the recent movie Mama Mia was released in Japan with Japanese versions of the songs sung and she wants mp3s of the Japanese soundtrack they used. Any version of this available would be greatly appreciated!

I have been looking for the Original Soundtrack for the movie "The Returner" the movie that came out in Japan with the actor Takeshi Kenishiro. The movie came out between 2002 and 2003. The guy who composed it was Akihiko Matsumoto. The CD is said to be out of print. So I was hoping someone already might have it.

OKay now I am getting seriously PISSED! What in the HELL is up with sharebee??? I have tried uploading 2 of the albums that portzebie requested at least 6 times each, and it keeps freaking crashing on me... it takes forever to upload and then when its at like 2% it fucks up. Okay so anyone know yet another multiple upload site? This is really getting damned ridiculous! And before anyone says it, yes I did make each album into more than one smaller file so that places that cannot upload the larger files will be able to still take it. Sorry about the tone but this is ticking me off big time.

I know what you are going though tiger, I gave up on sharebee a couple of months ago for this same reason. As for site of this kind...the only other two that I know of is Shareonall and Massmirror. I've not used Massmirror before but Shareonall is fairly reliable.

I have looked for quite a while, and I cant find Batman: The Animated Series music / ost, however found 3 interesting things...
1- This site ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), which proves there was a soundtrack for Batman: The Animated Series released back in the 90's.
2- This site ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) which has music samples from the Batman: The Animated Series.
3- And that there was a movie of the Batman animated series, called Mask of the Phantasm and there is a soundtrack for that done by the same composer (Shirley Walker) as the Batman animated series.

I will still be on the look out for any Batman animated series music.

For those interested in purchasing Forbidden Kingdom from Amazon I am posting a buyer beware notice. As most of you know, this is not a commercial cd but a CD-R that Amazon is producing On Demand. Despite the inferior format, they are selling it at a full cd price. But that is not the issue.

The problem is that their production quality is terrible. My copy came and there was some kind of wet paint on the front side of the cd disc that smeared off. Worse the recordable side is covered with some kind of residue or glue. Won't even play on a normal cd player.

Now if this were an isolated incident I would shrug it off - that I just got a bad copy. But I am following another forum where four or five other people have reported receiving the product with the same defects.

I had to return this; Amazon is sending me a replacement, of course, and I will report if the new copy is also damaged or if they have their production problems fixed. So Buyer Beware. If you are considering purchasing this score, contact Amazon directly and demand some assurance they won't be sending you a damaged product.

Commercial releases are often lacking a lot of the music. Extended versions give you more of music that wasn't on commercial release, and Complete versions give you everything. generally speaking.

If its just related to Firefox then THANK GOD for Firefox. I got the same message, and after doing a little investigating I found out there was a problem with Galbadia Hotel and the situation of a Trojan Virus downloading on some computers but from what Ive heard that was taken care of days ago by the Administrators. It was still reported though. I just click on the "Why was this site reported" link and it will tell me there is nothing wrong with the forums board but if I went to Galbadia Hotel it would show MANY problems associated with that website and the Hotel and this forum are basically linked

I tried to scan the booklet clear enough that the tiny writing can be read its got some great history on the tracks. Unfortunately, I've only got the various artists soundtrack (which in itself is pretty good; I love the songs "One Man Wrecking Machine" by Guster and "Always Love" by Nada Surf) but I'll do a search for you and see if I can find the score. I've got an idea to help introduce people to new scores and soundtracks (and maybe even remind people of one that they wanted and totally forgot about). Tell me if you think this is a good idea:

Everybody on the board posts links to up to three of their very favorite scores/ost's with a small blurb about why they like that one so much.

I myself have never been very big on scores mostly because while I like the music coupled with the movie, alone it generally tends to feel like it's missing something. Then I saw the movie Sunshine and the score grabbed me, threw me against the wall, and demanded I find a copy (which we all know was never commercially released and had to be painstakingly tracked down). Also, in searching for scores for other people, I've run across at least one (Pan's Labyrinth) that I hadn't even realized I wanted until I saw a link for it. Same thing for soundtracks with songs by various artists.

I really think sharing our favorite scores/ost's could do the same for other people. It doesn't even have to be a rare one. Any video game/movie/tv soundtrack will do. Thoughts, concerns, suggestions?

I have The Goonies Score, (also one of my all time faves) but it is missing several cues notably "Data's theme", and the tense music played during the skeleton organ scene. I actually made my own soundtrack to Goonies several years back combining the best quotes between the score music and adding some extras like Cyndi Lauper singing "Goonies R Good Enough" live in concert. I can upload it if you want once I find it. I am not sure where just the plain score is right now which I used for my fan made soundtrack, I think my custom one would be easier to find, if anyone wants it. I did some detective work where the score music came from a few years back and it seems it was a suite of goonies themes mashed together and only available on a european compilation cd for movie themes. As far as I know there has never been a full release of the complete score, which is truly sad.

Ve a tu USER CP y cambia las opciones en Edit Options... Baja hasta donde dice Messaging & Notification y hasta donde dice Private Messaging... Allí te aparecera la opción Enable Private Messaging con una caja que debes cliquear para que te aparezca un visto de color verde... Más abajo te aparecerán tres opciones más... No actives la segunda y activa las últimas dos (Sólo es una sugerencia)... Luego ya debieras poder acceder a los mensajes privados...

I think it's because you have to have a minimum of 10 posts (or more) in order to use Private Messaging, or at least that's how it was when I first got here. As i write this, you've only got 5. There may be no solution save just waiting out the "newbie probation" period.
