I had the great pleasure of seeing BILLY ELLIOT in London with the original cast in 2004. LIAM MOWER played Billy (he alternated performances with the two other boys playing Billy), and he is heard on this recording. It was one of the best performances I have ever seen by an actor, of any age, in a stage show. A "live" performance of BILLY ELLIOT was recently seen in theatres via Fathom, in which LIAM played the part of "Older Billy." (Ten years later!) I went to see it twice :-) That performance is already available on DVD in the U.K., and hopefully it will be available in the U.S. soon.

I hope you enjoy the great music of Elton John, the wonderful lyrics by Lee Hall, and all the fine performances on the CD Original Cast Recording ...

I've been to a screening, too. That was my first Billy Elliott experience, and I loved it. So I'm very grateful for this fine post.
