Note: For this release, I re-sequenced the tracks from the Silva America "Chronicles" disc into their most chronological form. The finale was actually a mix of 2 cues (Lament Configuration and The Cenobites) however "Lament Configuration" was used in the beginning of the film with "The Cenobites" being one of the layers in the finale where Frank is ripped to shreds so I sequenced them as they first appear. "Re-Resurrection" was a mystery cue but I think was used in the film to lead-in to the album track "Resurrection" since the opening section of "Re-Resurrection" sounds similar to the one used in the film versus the album version but matches up better for the remainder of the scene with "Resurrection." Sounds more confusing than it is really.

Some tracks required fade-ins and fade-outs which was the only real work I had to do here. The project was fairly straightforward. Two changes I made that may be of particular interest (if in the end it makes no difference anyway) is that for the opening notes of Seduction & Pursuit, I added a slight heaping of reverb to create a slight echo effect that, to me, sounded more consistent with the rest of the opening section of the track. It sounds a bit trippier too. To me anyway. Also, I merged the tracks "Brought On By Night" and "Another Puzzle" just mainly because I couldn't figure out what to do with Brought On By Night. I don't recall hearing it in the film. It crescendoed into Another Puzzle quite nicely I thought. Any complaints can go below and I will fix it.

Now sit back, relax and enjoy the hellacious musical majesty that is Christopher Young's classic score to Clive Barker's film adaptation of The Hellbound Heart. I'm not even gonna attempt Hellbound: Hellraiser II. The album is a clusterfuck series of suites. I hope you enjoy!
