What in the hell is up with the Tech Find? I thought it was something where you could select abilities to just put on your players.

It was second prize in a league so I ahd to finish second to get it which is hard to do! It's easy to finish first, just win all your matches, but finishing second means you have to get your results right, but I did it anyway. It asks me who I wnat to expand there ability, i choose Tidus, and as far as I know it's done absolutely nothing! I was all hyped up about getting it and was damn dissapointed when I got it.

How exactly is it supposed to work?

Tech Find unlocks a tech that a person does not have or can learn already. Check your tech lists. You see 3 things. 1) The names of the techs you have, 2) -------'s showing that you can learn the tech there but you haven't learned it yet (you'll have to TechCopy or win it) and 3) blank blue spaces where there's a tech that you don't have or can't learn. Tech Find allows you to open up one of the blank blue spaces into a ----- so that you can now learn that tech. For example, Ropp can't learn Elite Defense. But win and use a Tech Find on the location where E.Defense should be and now you can win E.Defense and have Ropp learn it.

However, you don't want to waste it on people who can learn all techs (Kilika Beasts, Tidus, Wakka, Jumal, Datto). Make sure the player you use it on has learned all of his/her key techs... It'll suck to use a Tech Find to open up a tech which can be opened by justing getting the next key tech (although doing this does give you access to the particular tech earlier). But if you positive that the player will not learn the tech after all of his/her key techs, then you should use it for that tech no matter how many key techs you've learned. Hope this helps!
